Domaine du Tunnel

Stéphane Robert

Organic producer

Stéphane established his estate in 1994 on the very steep granite slopes of Cornas and St Peray.

The 11ha of vineyards are all worked by hand.

His benchmark wines are intense, elegant and textural, considered some of the best in the Northern Rhône.

In 2014 the estate has relocated in an old steam train tunnel of 170m, hence the name.

Domaine Aurélien Chatagnier

Aurélien Chatagnier

Organic producer

Established in 2002 after training with Jamet amongst others, Aurélien is one of the best producers of his generation and a true rising star.

Most vineyards are on steep granite slopes where the soil is worked using a winch.

His wines are lean, pure and perfumed. One to try is "Le Crêt Louison" that comes from a high density plot planted by Aurélien in 2007.

Domaine Emmanuel Darnaud

Emmanuel Darnaud

Organic producer

This young talented winemaker established in 2001 in the southern part of Crozes Hermitage on glacial alluvia and rounded pebble soil.

Emmanuel has been inspired by his father in law Bernard Faurie from which he bought the iconic old vineyard of La Dardouille in Tournon sur Rhône.

Emmanuel's work is meticulous to produce fine wines that are ripe, fruity and fleshy. The best cuvées are worth ageing and there is also a small production of white wine.

Domaine Jérôme Gradassi
Jérôme Gradassi

Organic producer

Jérôme was a chef owning a star Michelin restaurant in Avignon before coming back to his roots and taking over the family property in 2003.
5ha of vineyard on the northern side of Chateauneuf on quite clayey and cooler soil.
The wines are very elegant, balanced and savoury, they are truly gastronomical.

Sustainable producer

Christophe has taken over his father’s estate in 1993.

Château Saint Maurice is a big property of about 100ha on the right bank of the Rhône river.

Rounded pebbles and sandy slopes are the main soil types that produce some classic, fruity and spicy wines with a good structure.

Domaine Giraud

Marie & François Giraud

Organic producer

Family estate of 35ha with 8ha in Les Galimardes, famous for its typical pebbles terroir of Chateauneuf du Pape.

The sandy soil of the north of the appellation is equally interesting and all wines are made to express the full expression of their soil from mostly old grapes (some are a century old).

Domaine Giraud produces some wines of gastronomy that are age worthy.
